To Love

YOU CAME TO LOVE NOT BY FINDING THE PERFECT PERSON BUT BY SEEING THE IMPERFECT PERSON PERFECTLY

Do you know about the 80-20 rule?Your thought on the same will be inorder..
To be honest,I have loved not ones and I have equally lost. The question I am trying to ask,is just how much love is enough. Is it ever enough. How much effort should we put into it,does it grow, when does it mature, when does it hurt, does it ever stop hurting. The questions in my mind now are just too many.

Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the LORD

You have probably read and had this line over and over again and it is now 'cliche'.However have you had time to think about its weight.
The other day I was given an opportunity to discuss family values with the Meru GK prison staff and I realized that this was a topic often least considered when planning for a social forum. We as a society are too busy chasing money, good jobs, the promotion at work, the nice expensive dress you that just got imported by that stall in Jamia mall, that nice handsome man who you truly know is married, that woman who you suspect has a dis functional marriage, that girl who everyone discusses her abilities in bed, that prostitute who got you screaming the first you ever tried having sex with one. We are always chasing and when each of you gets their immediate reward for the chase we tend to find something new to chase.
Yes you also chased your wife,I don't mean away, I mean you worked really hard to ensure she was with you only, and in the long run she married you and has now bore beautiful children for you.so when did you realize that there was more to chase?or when did you discover you had settled for less?
A wife is truly a gift from God.Compare your wife with that gift/talent God gave you. Some of you can sing, others can dance, others are good with instruments, others just find mathematics a walk over, some are just damn right wealthy. All of these are gifts from God and we often tend to ensure that they are well taken care of.Infact schools today are talking about nurturing gift/talents identified among the students. My question is,so why not take care of that talent the good Lord gave to you as a favour "your wife"
A wife is carefully chosen gift from God.Out of all the women in the world God in his divine mercy identified a woman who will live with you for life, and then you decide to make her life a living hell, compare this to doing the same to the Lord.
If that does not make you guilty, the you are as good as a body with no spirit.

Proverbs 19:14
Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the LORD

Genesis 2:18-24

The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found. So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman,' for she was taken out of man."
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Deuteronomy 24:5

If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married.

Matthew 19:4-6

Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

1 Corinthians 7: 1-16

Now for the matters you wrote about: It is good for a man not to marry. But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife. Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. I say this as a concession, not as a command. I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.

But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?

Ephesians 5:22-33

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church- for we are members of his body. "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." This is a profound mystery-but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Colossians 3:18,19

Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

Hebrews 13:4-7

Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

Mark 10:6-9

"But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female.'' For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

Love

Romans 12: 9-21

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary:
"If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil .

EASTLEIGH OR IS IT ISISLI

My best bet is that you have thought about the poor drainage system that has ensured that the business hub away from Nairobi City center is the place you dread the most.
Remind me, I have always thought that those in business always have to ensure they have a slippery tongue.I mean , one must have the ability to whore customers and keep them.Well, well, in Isili as is famously refereed to,that is not the case. This applies to both sexes, the men and women who have stalls are just impossible to deal with. They almost want to force clothes down your throat which is usually followed by a rood comment, "Kama hatuki, neenda tu"! they then get back to the mats where they have gathered in groups speaking in one of those languages.Did you want me to mention the language?
Oooh you walk into a stall and the owner stairs at you wondering why the hell you have chosen his/her shop.when you touch whatever is displayed, they quickly raise their voices to ask you to stop.
Given a choice Eastleigh would be my last choice as a shopping destination.
Tell me your experiences especially the one you are told a particular item is not available while you can see it displayed in the stall.

7 GOLDEN RULES IN LIFE

1st
Don’t let someone become a priority in your life, when you are just an option in their life…

Relationships work best when they are balanced.

2nd
Never explain yourself to anyone.
Because the person who likes you doesn’t need it, and the person who dislikes you won’t believe it.

3rd
When you keep saying you are busy, then you are never free.
When you keep saying you have no time, then you will never have time.
When you keep saying that you will do it tomorrow, then your tomorrow will never come.

4th
When we wake up in the morning, we have two simple choices.
Go back to sleep and dream, or wake up and chase those dreams.
Choice is yours…

5th
We make them cry who care for us.
We cry for those who never care for us.
And we care for those who will never cry for us.
This is the truth of life, it’s strange but true. Once you realize this, it’s never too late to change.

6th

Don’t make promise when you are in joy.
Don’t reply when you are sad. Don’t take decision when you are angry.
Think twice, act twice.

7th

Time is like river. You can’t touch the same water twice,
because the flow that has passed will never pass again.
 Enjoy every moment of life…

I did not write this...but it is interesting!!!!!!!!!!

MOMENTS

Today I got to work, sat at my desk and sunk into deep thought.Moments go by and we still remain the same.We still hold on to that bad mood we had in the morning. We still hold tight to that grudge we have kept for a while, you still have that Citi Hoppa ticket with you from the rude conductor, you still raise your head to look at that man who has no sense of colour in the office, that lady who has no fashion sense, you still sneer when your boss passes by,you still are plotting revenge on that partner who came home after midnight, you still brooding over that long lost love, you still wishing you were like that size eight bitch who lives next door, you still wishing it would not rain so that you get home dry,you still wishing that crazy neighbor would move out,you still wishing that your pay would go up a little, you still wishing Friday would come so that you sleep in Saturday morning. All of these are moments, moments that we allow to pass us by,moments we close our eyes to beautiful things, moments we fail to see God,s blessings, moments we would have made a friend, met a great lover or a mentor.Moments we would have put a smile on another persons smile.Moments!

FRIENDS

Friends! friends! For different people, friends mean different things. For some it is a lifetime patner, for others it is the one person who knows you inside out ,some will say it is that girl or boy who you grew up with. For me,its that person who I know counts on me so much that I would be willing to go far out of my way to sort them out. Do not get it wrong,I am not talking about money.
For me it is that person, I would make time to answer their phone call in the middle of a high profile meeting. That person I would not mind spending the whole day listening to them wine about something they do not like. That peroson who I always want to grow and develop in life, that person that I tell the truth however bad, that person who I will never think twice about taking them home, that person who i I think of and smile ,that person who I remeber to pray for every evening before I go to bed.THAT PERSON WHO MY HEART REALLY WARMS UP TOWARDS.

A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words."
